When Brett Goldstein, Jason Segel and Bill Lawrence were asked how they got Harrison Ford to appear on the show, Segel said that Goldstein originally wanted "Harrison Ford guy," and was auditioning for people similar to Ford.

Segel told Goldstein that they had to at least take it to Ford first, thinking that he would immediately reject it, but at least other people would hear that Harrison Ford had brought the project, generating interest from other notable actors. Two episodes out now, and this show has a lot of promise, the chemistry between the characters is infectious and sometimes even weird... touching in ways that most shows aren't, it's purely reminiscent of Community because of these elements. I'm not sure if this accurately portrays the way a therapist deals with problems, but it certainly gives Jason Segel room to make it his own.

I wasn't sure how his character would work in this series, but Rhodes' anti-social likeness certainly plays into the persona Ford comes across quite well when we think about the scary elements of his Han Solo character in Star Wars, it just fits perfectly into this series. Somewhat too relatable, Sean (Luke Tennie) plays a bit of a son to Jimmy (Segel) while he deals with his own family issues with his daughter Alice (Lukita Maxwell)... What I see here seems so vivid and the possibilities are perhaps (?) endless while I see Jimmy running those things.

And the music in this show is so good

Btw, the opening theme of this show is so good, I didn't even skip it when I watched the second episode... All in all, this turned out to be a wonderful show and I hope it only gets better from here on out.
