Coincidentally, Aidan Turner has previously filmed at Chavenage House (The Priory in Rivals). The same filming location was also used to portray Trenwith House in the 2015 BBC TV adaptation of Poldark.. I never read the books, but I still thought the show looked good, so I went ahead and binged all of it in one sitting. The acting was phenomenal, and most of the people in this show are so fine, especially Alex Hassell, or at least I think he is. No wonder everyone wants to bang Rupert Campbell-Black. He was great in Violent Night and The Boys, even if he's only in a few episodes. I was surprised seeing him naked as Translucent, and I'm still surprised seeing him naked as Rupert. I don't care if Rupert was meant to be blonde or if people say that Alex is not that good-looking, he is still hot af.
