Chronology

Miami, 1991 When he can no longer ignore his bloodthirsty urges, young Dexter Morgan must learn to channel his inner darkness as he goes from schoolboy to vengeful serial killer under the guidance of his father Harry. Christian Slater is older than James Remar was when Nurse (2006) first aired. Followed by Dexter Resurrection (2025).

Well, what can I say?

After watching the first episode of this prequel to Dexter, I am absolutely blown away. Even though the original was a while ago, the series feels incredibly authentic. From the opening credits to the younger versions of the characters, their mannerisms and personalities are spot on.

I enjoyed it

It's a faithful recreation of the essence of the original and will hopefully serve as a strong lead-up to Dexter Resurrection. Fans of the series have something to look forward to! If you're a movie junkie like me, you'll appreciate the time and effort Clyde Phillips and everyone else put into making this happen.
