The opening credits sequence features a variety of photographic and painted images, as well as Oklahoma landmarks, superimposed on the New York City skyline: the statue of Sioux Indian chief "Touch the Clouds"; wears a War Bonnet and Bone Choker (chest plate) attached to the Brooklyn Bridge Gold Digger statue placed atop the Statue of Liberty. There are several numbered "Avenues" in the New York City borough of Manhattan; which are intersected by smaller numbered streets. I’ve enjoyed Tulsa King so far.

It’s a fun cop show that knows exactly what it wants to be, and it’s safe to say that the cast, led by Sylvester Stallone, pulls it off well. It’s about New York mob boss Dwight “The General.” Manfredi (Stallone), who is released from prison after 25 years. He thinks he’s going to find a hero, but instead he’s sent to Tulsa to do some work.

Some things may seem a little silly, but overall it’s a really good show that’s definitely worth watching. That’s obviously a good thing because it’s already been renewed for a second season, which is great news! Check out our review of Yellowstone; Season 5, Episode 2, “The Squid Game” Season 2 and more of the most anticipated new and returning series coming to TV and streaming.
