The opening credits sequence shows various photographic and painted views, as well as Oklahoma landmarks imposed on the New York City landscape: A statue of Sioux Indian Chief "Touch the Clouds" wearing a war bonnet and bone necklace (armor) imposed on top of the Brooklyn Bridge. In Tulsa King might very well be his best work from an acting standpoint alone, he's just chill in the role of a mob boss

I've always liked Stallone, over the years, yes he's addicted to sequels but he's made some really enjoyable films while sprinkling in some classics along the way. The series itself has an interesting story, it's well written making full use of the humor of a New York gangster in Tulsa, Oklahoma without getting silly at all, add in a healthy dose of violence, good writing and dialogue and a great supporting cast and characters and they have a winner.
