In a mysterious and surreal interstellar zone between Tehran and Winnipeg, the lives of many characters intertwine in surprising and mysterious ways. Schoolchildren Negin and Nazgol find a sum of money frozen in the winter ice and try to recover it. Meanwhile, Masoud leads a group of increasingly confused tourists through the monuments and historical sites of Winnipeg. Matthew leaves his insignificant job at a Quebec government agency and embarks on a mysterious journey to visit his mother. Space, time and personal identities intertwine, intertwine and echo in a surreal comedy of misdirection.
