This series has been on air since 2018 but now I am watching it for the first time. Last night I finished the first episode of the first season, it's almost 90 minutes long. As for the introduction of the Dutton family, we see that they have a powerful influence in their valley, but they defend themselves from "attacks". Another from a neighboring nature reserve that wants to get back some of their land and some of their cattle.

They should have stopped when they got to Montana

Dutton (60-year-old Kevin Costner played for real) has several grown cowboy boys and a helicopter with a dedicated pilot. The reason I watched the first episode of the first season (streamed on Peacock) was to get to know the Dutton family, because I'm currently watching all ten episodes of Taylor Sheridan's latest show, 1883, which is sort of a prequel. It was (fictional) 1883 when the Dutton family from Tennessee joined a larger group to travel by caravan from Fort Worth Texas "somewhere west". Again, this is all fiction, but if we look at the ages of the men and the fact that Costner was born in 1955, his character would likely be the great-grandson of the Dutton patriarch (played by Tim McGraw) in 1883.

Now that I'm 70, I prefer to spend my time watching "nice" stories

with the kids "Yellowstone" is a really good show, The cast are all top notch, the acting and sound are excellent. It's just not the kind of show I can get into and keep watching. It's hard to find characters with redeeming qualities, and I really don't like long-running shows , which constantly focus on arguments and fights and often murder. NB: "1883" is a really good and interesting series that truly represents the great difficulty of rooting and traveling through unknowns regions trying to find a new life in a new place.The new season of "Silo" is one of the biggest TV and streaming premieres this month.
